Hello and welcome to this month’s Creative Crew blog hop. You are currently visiting me – Gina Connor – aka Emerald Kreations – from a dull and wet Northern Ireland !
This month’s theme is “make a card send a card” .As a card maker I know I don’t send cards often enough. With this in mind, I choose the new beautiful Floral Statement stamp set as it has such a gorgeous design .
I stamped the image in crumb cake and then used a watercolour pen to add colour to the leaves and petals. The pink pirouette just touching the ends of the petals in the “Hello” image, reminds me of the wild roses that grow here in the summertime.
I hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog. If you click the “Next” button below , it will take you to Emma’s blog and I’m sure you will love the project that she has come up with this month.
See you again soon x

Oh my goodness I LOVE this set ! We have a family wedding this weekend so I had to make a money wallet for a gift. I love the Shimmery White card for special cards and the rest of the card is the same arrangement as the previous card that I made, only I used a different colour for the flowers.
You can see the sparkle of the card, it really is very subtle but the light caught it perfectly for the photogragh.
We have a fantastic new sentiment stamp set called Special Celebrations , it’s on page 23 in the new catalogue. It has some beautiful sentiments and verses for weddings, new babies and birthdays. I stamped the title of the card on the front and then stamped the verse in the middle in my neutral colour – Crumb Cake .
If you would like to order this set from me, you can order on line at http://firstname.lastname@example.org or email me if you have enquiries at email@example.com.
Thankyou for visiting, see you again on Saturday for our monthly blog hop . X
I’ve taken some time today to do a bit of crafting. I have a few birthdays this week so I would need to be organised. I have had a good browse through the new catalogue and I just love the new ” Oh So Eclectic” bundle – stamps and co ordinating framelit dies.its on page 133 in the catalogue and I must admit the colour scheme didn’t quite work for me but I do love the flowers and the framelits. So this is what I came up with ……
There’s a little bit of gold and a couple of diamonds, just to make it sparkle a bit ! Can you see the leaves in the bottom left hand corner – that die is meant to leave an impression! It just adds a little bit of texture to the card.
I’ll be back soon as I have another card to show you using this set!
See you soon x
I’m sure everyone has one month in the year, when you have a lot of birthdays to celebrate. June is that month for me . It’s my brother in law’s birthday next week and I had to be on the ball as he lives in America and I had to get it away a week early so that he will get in time. It’s not like me to be that organised !
I thought I would use the gorgeous new Happy Birthday framelit die . It’s so versatile and one that is going to be used a lot by me.
Here I cut the wording out 4 times in white card and then the 5th time I cut it out using some of the word papers. I then stuck them all together , it looked amazing !
The rest of the card I kept simple so as not to take away from the sentiment. I hope you like it !
Thank you for visiting x
Hello again, I hope you have had a good weekend ! Why do Saturday and Sundays fly by so quickly ? – before I know it, it’s Monday again !
We had our quarterly team meeting on Friday evening. It’s customary at Stampin’ Up! Meet ups that we do swaps for our fellow crafters. I used the Colorful Season stamp set for the first time and came up with this quick and simple card. It’s a single layer card with a sentiment in Crumb Cake ink, the leaves are in Pear Pizzazz and the little flowers are in Sweet Sugarplum. A little bit of twine tied in a bow completes the card. You will definitely be seeing a lot more cards from me using this set as it’s so versatile.

Hello and welcome to this month’s blog hop with the Creative Crew. We thought we would share with you some sneak peaks from the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue which goes live on 1st June and believe me you won’t be disappointed!
You are currently visiting me – Gina Connor AKA Emerald Kreations from the Emerald Isle , Northern Ireland. If you are following the blog hop, you will have arrived here from the very talented Eimear and her gorgeous project.
A friend of mine has recently moved into a new house and we have the perfect stamp set and co ordinating dies, for the occasion- “At home with You” .
I stamped the image on Watercolour paper with Smokey Slate and then used an Aqua painter to colour in the images. The door is in Soft Sky.
Do you see how clever the dies are? There is a die to cut out the door surround and then there is another die which cuts into 3 sides of the door, allowing the door to open. How clever is that !

Welcome to the Stampin’ Creative March blog hop. You are currently visiting me ! Gina Connor aka Emerald Kreations from Northern Ireland. Hello there!
This month’s theme is Last Chance Sale-a-bration. I have chosen to use the beautiful Delicate Details stamp set from the Sale-a-bration brochure. It’s such a pretty feminine set!
I used Sahara Sand ink and co-ordinating card with Whisper White card and a little bit of Blushing Bride ink. Oh and some bling !
To make sure everything was straight I used my grid paper and made sure the Whisper White card was sitting straight on the paper. I then took care before putting the stamp on the card, making sure that each end of the stamp was on the same line either side of the card.
You can continue hopping by clicking on the next button below. Thank you for visiting my blog, I hope you have enjoyed your visit! Your next stop is with the lovely Emma , I’m sure you will enjoy your visit with her. See you all next month x

Next week I am taking part in a Stampin’ Up ! Experience event at the Dunsilly Hotel. There are 4 demonstrators taking a class each and I decided to showcase the beautiful “Urban Underground” designer series paper.
It has been a while since my Gift Bag Punch Board has been out of the box and it was great to use it again as I had forgotten how it’s so easy to use! I used a full sheet of 12×12 to make this large bag.
I am using the “Hello You Thinlets” which co- ordinate with the “Crazy About You ” stamp set . This set covers every occasion possible and I just love the clear, simple font .
My husband loves to receive “nice” socks for Father’s Day and this is the perfect gift wrap for them! All I have to do now is get the socks !!

Hello and welcome to this month’s blog hop with the Creative Crew. It only seems like yesterday since I posted on the last hop – doesn’t time fly! You are currently visiting me – Gina Connor AKA Emerald Kreations from Northern Ireland.
The theme for this month’s blog hop is Birthday Bonanaza. I decided I would share with you a card that we made in class on Monday using the ” Cake Crazy” stamp set.
The card is actually a Z card which means that the front side folds back on itself to form a Z. Here is the inside view of the card , you can see the “Z” maybe from this angle.
The measurements for the base card is 21cm by 14.9 cm. Along the the 21cm side I scored at 5.25 cm and 10.5 cm . I then used a bone folder to give a good crease on the 5.25cm scoreline.
I stamped my image on a piece of Whisper White card measuring 8cm X 14.9cm and adhered it to a piece of Pool Party card which measured 8.4cm X 14.9cm .
The insert measures 8cm x 14.9cm and when fixing it to the base card I made sure that it was directly under the Pool Party layer, so that it can’t be seen when the card is closed.

Take care and see you all next month ! X

Good morning from a very wet Northern Ireland ! I don’t know about you but I’m ready for some warmer temperatures! Winter is far too long in this country!
So today I thought I would share with you a card that I made for a card buffet in January using the Sale-a-bration stamp set Avant Garden. I just love this set and it was a firm favourite with my customers at the event.
I used the “Stampin off technique” to show how you can get two different tones inking the stamp once but stamping twice. The colours that I used were Watermelon Wonder and Pear Pizzazz.
You a receive this stamp set free from me if you place an order for £45 . I love the sentiments in the set as well so it is a great set to add to your stash.
Thank you for visiting my blog, have a great day x
