Fancy Fold Februray Blog Hop – Two Way Fun Fold Card

Hello and welcome to the February Fancy Fold Blog Hop. This month we are featuring the Two way Fun Fold card – it truly lives up to its name as it really is a Two Way Fun Fold!

You are currently visiting me Gina Connor from Northern Ireland. Spring has arrived here and the daffodils are out! I just hope that they are not out too early and that the snow has well and truly gone for this year!

Two Way Fun Fold Card

I used the Forever Lovely stamp set for my card. It is so beautiful and delicate. My colour scheme is Powder Pink, Soft Sea Foam and Whisper White.

The little flowers are Vellum and I used the little flower dies from the co-ordinating Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies.

This picture is what the card looks like with the band open. Here you can see that the band is adhered under the Crumb Cake layer. Do you like the delicate scalloped edge on the Crumb Cake card? The die that I used for it is from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies. I love the delicate scallops and the stitching.

The front flap flips open to reveal the inside of the card. I used a sentiment from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set as I have someone in mind who is going to receive this card.

Base card – Thick Whisper White Card 10.5cm x 14.5cm

Crumb Cake Layer 8.5cm x 14.5cm. I placed the scallop edge die right at the edge to cut it .

Whisper White Flap 7cm x 29cm scored at 14.5cm.

The band is Thick Whisper White 2.5cm x 14cm , scored at 4cm from the edge. This is the bit that is glued underneath the Crumb Cake Layer.

The ovals are cut using the Layering Ovals Framelits and the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

I hope you have enjoyed visiting with me, next on the hop is the amazing Satomi from Japan , I am sure you will be delighted when you see what Satomi has created using this fold. To continue hopping click on the Next button below.
