Hello and welcome to the Stampin’ Creative Crew November Blog Hop. This month our theme is “White Christmas”. You are currently visiting me Gina Connor AKA Emerald Kreations from Northern Ireland.
I must admit I dreaded doing this theme – White Christmas – as I thought how on earth am I going to make a completely white card? Well the secret is in the title – white Christmas can only mean one thing – Snowflakes! Thank goodness we have the most gorgeous Thinlets Die set available at the moment called Snowfall. It co-ordinates with a fabulous stamp set – Snow is Glistening and both are only available for the month of November!
I decided that I would die cut the snowflakes out of Sparkle Glimmer Paper. I cut out two lots of snowflakes so that I would have plenty to play with. I then cut out the top layer of the Thick Whisper White card in half with the longest snowflake die and arranged it on my base layers raising it with dimensionals. I then took the same die and cut out the shape in the Sparkle Glimmer Paper. I used Multi purpose glue to stick this down flat like a jigsaw piece in between the two white layers of card. I randomly added the snowflakes onto the white card and completed the card by adding some frosted Epoxy Droplets to some of the snowflakes.
Why is it that while I’ve been making this card and writing this blog post, I keep singing that Bing Crosby song – “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas ” !!
