Fancy Folds Design Team October Blog Hop – Sliding Pop Up Card

Hello and welcome to the Fancy Folds Design Team October Blog Hop. You are currently visiting me – Gina Connor from Northern Ireland. This month our featured Fancy Fold is the Pop Up Slider Card.

The Fancy Fold Design Team are a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world who get together once a month to share their love of Fancy Fold cards.

There are so many variations of this Pop Up Slider Card and I hope you like mine.

I used the beautiful stamp set First Frost. This is the most gorgeous suite – it has co-ordinating DSP , Stamp set, Framelits Dies, Ribbon, Accents and allows you to create such beautiful projects and cards.

I created the card so that it can stand and you can write a personal message inside . This is what the card looks like before you use the slider mechanism.

The verse is stamped with Mint Macaron and is included in the stamp set.

The flowers were stamped with Berry Burst ink on to Shimmer Paper. I then cut a small semi circle to allow me to crease it into a slight 3D flower.

I added a glue dot to make sure the Tranquil Tide Satin Ribbon stays together . I thought it looked a little plain, so I tied a little bow with some Twine to give a little detail.

Thank you for visiting my blog today! Please click on the button below to continue hopping. Next on the list is the fabulous Satomi from Japan – I’m sure you will love to see what she has created for this month’s blog hop!
