Friends of SUBA September blog hop – children

Hello and welcome to the September SUBA Blog Hop. The theme this month is children and I am sure that we have got some fabulous projects to show you with this theme.

You are currently visiting me, Gina Connor from Northern Ireland. If you are wondering what SUBA is – well we are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who met with Louise Simms and Pip Todman’s IT training. SUBA stands for Simply Unique Business Angels and you can head over to their site here.

I decided that I would make some New Baby cards using the Little Elephant Bundle on page 91 in the Annual Catalogue. It is such a cute bundle and has sentiments to cover quite a few occasions. The punch makes it super quick to layer and add dimension.

I used Stampin’ Up! Layering Squares to create this frame in Flirty Flamingo card. I stamped the Little Elephant image in Gray Granite, punched it out and then added a Dimensional to the back to create a little depth to the card. I tied the little bow to the frame before I stuck it down.

I stamped the sentiment in Gray Granite and added the flowers in the corner.

I love this colour combination – Soft Sea Foam, Gray Granite and Whisper White. Perfect for a little baby boy!
