Hello and welcome to this month’s Stampin’ Creative Crew Blog Hop. You are currently visiting with me, Gina Connor AKA Emerald Kreations from Northern Ireland. This month we are featuring New Colour Combinations. Stampin’ Up! have decided that it was time to give our colours collections a make over and are calling it the 2018 Colour Revamp. We have 5 new In Colors, 6 Colors that are returning, and 10 brand New Colors . You will definitely have to check out the New Annual catalogue to see these beautiful new colours.
So for this blog hop I decided to CASE a card from the new catalogue. It is not only showing you a new colour combination but is also showing you a sneak peak of some new product.
The new colour combination that I have decided to use is a beautiful new pink colour called Petal Pink, returning Coastal Coastal Cabana, my firm favourite Pear Pizzazz and Crumb Cake. I used the Banners for You stamp set and co-ordinating framelit dies which is thankfully carrying over to the new catalogue.
For the background of my card I used the beautiful new Delightfully Detailed Laser- Cut Speciality Paper. I am in love with this new product! The sheets are 12x 12 and are Vanilla on one side and White on the other. I have used the Vanilla side for my card as I thought it suited the Petal Pink card. When using the sheets I would recommend that you set it on top of the card that are using so that you can cut to size or design what you need.
I stamped the banner with Petal Pink Ink and I have to admit it has a hint of peach in it!, the sentiment and some of the flowers are stamped with Coastal Cabana, the leaves with pear Pizzazz and some flowers with Calypso Coral. I hope you like the colour combination!
This was a flower that I cut separately and I daubed it with some Petal Pink Ink. To adhere the flowers to the card I added some glue to a bit of old sponge and sponged the glue to the back of the flowers. I did this on my Silicone Craft Sheet.
