Fancy Folds Design Team February 2018 Blog Hop Z Fold Spinner Card

Hello and welcome to the Fancy Fold Design Team February 2018 blog hop .The Fancy Fold which are highlighting this month is the Z Fold Spinner Card.

I instantly thought of this stamp set “Lift Me Up ” when I was planning this card. Again its a clean and simple card. I stamped the clouds with Soft Sky ink and stamped sporadically over the front and inside of the card.

The key focus of this card is the Spinner element.

I used my Many Marvelous Markers and coloured in fractions of the balloon. The colours I used are Pear Pizzazz, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise and Crumb Cake for the basket.

I used Silver Baker’s Twine to allow the balloon to spin and then used Mini Glue dots to attach it to the card. I disguised the mechanics with a scalloped circle edge.

My daughter Rebecca is in her 3rd year at Bristol university studying Physics, she is due the results of her January exams tomorrow and I know I will be sending this card to her!

Next on the hop is the lovely Martha Inchley from Canada. Click on the next button below to hop over to her blog and see what delightful project she has in store for you this month.
