Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop Spring Summer & SAB Sneak Peek

Hello and welcome to this month’s Stampin’ Creative Blog hop. If you are hopping, you will have arrived here to me, Gina Connor from Northern Ireland from the lovely Emma.  This month we are going to treat you to Sneak Peeks from the new Spring / Summer catalogue, which goes live on the 3rd January. It is full of beautiful ideas and products and you will find it hard to put it down!

I decided to show case one of the stamps from the beautiful “Flying Home” set. We have new neighbours moved into our neighbourhood and I made this card with the idea that I can send it to them welcoming them to the area.

It’s an ideal set for using your Blender pens. I find it very relaxing to colour in, it takes me back to my child hood!

With the blender pens, we have a light shade and a dark shade of each colour available. We also have a Color Lifter to soften colours, add texture, clean up edges if you are a little untidy and create highlights.

The “Hello” is from the Wood Words stamp set. The actual stamp says “Hello Friend” but I coloured the hello with the Basic Black marker as I didn’t want to use the “Friend”.

To create a bit of interest I stepped one of the houses up a bit using a dimensional. A little bit of Decoupage!

Next on the hop is Pip! Click on the next button below to hop along and see what Pip has in store for you.

Thank you for visiting my blog , see you again soon.

Gina x

Love your card, it is such a great set to colour with. Isn’t colouring so relaxing, what a great way to get over the chaos of Christmas?!
