Hello and welcome to this month’s blog hop with the Creative Crew. It only seems like yesterday since I posted on the last hop – doesn’t time fly! You are currently visiting me – Gina Connor AKA Emerald Kreations from Northern Ireland.
The theme for this month’s blog hop is Birthday Bonanaza. I decided I would share with you a card that we made in class on Monday using the ” Cake Crazy” stamp set.
The card is actually a Z card which means that the front side folds back on itself to form a Z. Here is the inside view of the card , you can see the “Z” maybe from this angle.
The measurements for the base card is 21cm by 14.9 cm. Along the the 21cm side I scored at 5.25 cm and 10.5 cm . I then used a bone folder to give a good crease on the 5.25cm scoreline.
I stamped my image on a piece of Whisper White card measuring 8cm X 14.9cm and adhered it to a piece of Pool Party card which measured 8.4cm X 14.9cm .
The insert measures 8cm x 14.9cm and when fixing it to the base card I made sure that it was directly under the Pool Party layer, so that it can’t be seen when the card is closed.
Thank you for visiting my blog . You can continue hopping by clicking the “Next” button below.
Take care and see you all next month ! X

Good morning from a very wet Northern Ireland ! I don’t know about you but I’m ready for some warmer temperatures! Winter is far too long in this country!
So today I thought I would share with you a card that I made for a card buffet in January using the Sale-a-bration stamp set Avant Garden. I just love this set and it was a firm favourite with my customers at the event.
I used the “Stampin off technique” to show how you can get two different tones inking the stamp once but stamping twice. The colours that I used were Watermelon Wonder and Pear Pizzazz.
You a receive this stamp set free from me if you place an order for £45 . I love the sentiments in the set as well so it is a great set to add to your stash.
Thank you for visiting my blog, have a great day x
Hello and welcome to the Stampin Creative January blog hop. Currently you are visiting me ! Gina Connor AKA Emerald Kreations. This month’s theme is all about wildlife so I thought I would bring out the beautiful Dragonflies stamp set and see what I could come up with. I thought I would do something a little different with the ribbon – what do you think ? It’s certainly different!
I love the Bermuda Bay colour – it’s so fresh and really compliments the grey . Of course I had to include a little sparkle to make it ” pop” !
Thank you for visiting my blog. If you would like to continue hopping please click on the Next button below and you can hop on over to the lovely Sarah Berry and see what she has come up with this month .

Hello and welcome to the Stampin Creative December blog hop. You are currently visiting me – Gina Connor aka Emerald Kreations.
I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas, for me it’s all about spending time with family and friends!
This month’s theme is “Sneak Peak ” into our new Spring Summer Catalogue which goes live next week! As a demonstrator we are given the privilege to preorder the new products before the catalogue launch date. I just love the “Special Reason” bundle and just had to have a play with it. I saw this card on Pinterest and just had to case it using different colours. There are some lovely wording in this set which makes it very special!
Thank you for visiting my blog. The next stop is with the lovely Mikaela and I’m sure she will have something totally fabulous for you to see!
I wish you all a very Happy New Year !
Blog Hop List
It seems to have become a tradition to make a new tissue box cover for Christmas every year in our last class for the year. I used the Santa’s Sleigh stamp set and co ordinating dies and decided instead of using a red/ green colour combination I would use my favourite colour combination – Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sky and Whisper White. We used the Softly Falling embossing folder for the back ground to create some texture.
I added a little bell with a bow for a little detail. I love this set! I will be back with some other cards that I have made using this set – meanwhile I must get and make some more Christmas cards !!
Thank you for visiting .x
I have made a start on my Christmas cards – I intend to be organised this year ! I have such fun with theses little fellows – Merry Mice, aren’t they cute ?
I coloured then in using a blender pen . I scribbled a little bit of ink from the wide tip end on the markers onto a ceramic tile and then picked up the colour with the blender pen. It gives a much softer colour and you can add shade by adding more colour to the areas that you wish.
I like to stamp a little on the envelopes, just to make them a little different.
I hope you have enjoyed these . Thank you for stopping by . x
Hello and welcome to this month’s Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop. Currently you are visiting me! Gina Connor AKA Emerald Kreations. The theme this month is Gift Wrapping Ideas which I do think is very helpful at this time of year. With this in mind and a few invites to some Christmas parties on the calendar, I thought I would make some little for some “liquid” gifts.
I used the “Here’s to Cheers” stamp set and co-ordinating “Cheerful Tags ” framelits dies. They are so quick and easy to make! I kept the colour theme simple but traditional. The little holly embellishment was made using the “Holly Berry Builder ” punch .
You can continue hopping by clicking on the next button below at the end if this post. Thank you for stopping by, I hope you have enjoyed my post. The next stop is with the lovely Pip , pop on over and see what Pip has designed this month .

Goodness where does time go! I can’t believe that I am prepping the kits for our Christmas event which is being held in the Dunsilly Hotel on the 12th November.
I thought I would share with you the projects that I have made for my workshop. I have decided not to do a Christmas theme as I thought it would be nice to make some little gifts which can sit on a desk all year round. The “Paisley and Posies” stamp set is such a versatile set . Depending on what colours that areused , this set can cover a wide range of occasions .
I have made a little notebook holder, a calendar and a Trifold card. If you are interested in making these projects , you would be very welcome to join me at the Dunsilly Hotel .
Thank you so much for stopping by .
Happy crafting X
Welcome to the Stampin’ Creative October Blog Hop. You are currently visiting me -Gina Connor from Emerald Kreations. The theme this month is Trees and Leaves so as I am currently working on some projects for an upcoming event using the Paisley and Posies stamp set, I thought I would show you how versatile this set is and make a Christmas tree with the images in the stamp set.
I used Real Red, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Crumb Cake and Delightful Dijon, all my festive colours. I gently drew a triangle in pencil and used this as my template to stamp the images inside. After I had finished I erased the pencil lines.
I hope you have enjoyed stopping by. Next stop is with the lovely Heidi, I am sure you will love what she has come up with!

Hello and welcome to this month’s Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop. If you are following the blog, you will have arrived at my blog from the very talented Sarah. This month’s theme is Trick or Treat. I’m not really into Halloween so I thought I would do something a little different and make a little magic slider card using the Santa’s Sleigh stamp set and co-ordinating thinlet dies.
This is the card closed. If you pull the ribbon and open the card , this is what happens. And this is what it is like when it is fully open.
Push the insert back in to close.
